Digital parliamentary simulation
Time: 27th of February 2021 at 16-19 Finnish time (UTC +2:00).
Are you a Finn under 30 living overseas? Would you like to network? Are you open to different views and interested in social issues? Do you want to influence young expatriate issues? The Finland Society’s pilot project, a parliamentary simulation, is meant for people like you!
For the model parliament, we’re searching for young people who’re interested in sharing their thoughts on social issues with other interested young expatriates.
The parliamentary simulation seeks to provide young expatriate Finns with a discussion forum on current issues related to young expatriates and to allow them to gather experience on democratic procedures. Through the model, you’ll have a chance to learn about the activities of the Finnish Expatriate Parliament (FEP), maintained by the Finland Society. After the simulation, you will put together your joint experiences to be submitted to the FEP’s tenth session on June 11-12, 2021.
Application for the model parliament will begin in December on this pages.
